Key Editorial for OPI

OPI and Lena White have been featured in Kate Shapland’s article for The Telegraph Magazine about the growing trend for nail bars and ‘the lipstick effect’.

The number of bottles of nail lacquer a woman owns now far exeeds that of lipstick. Lena White, who has been distributing the US brand OPI since 1983 and supplies 4,000 British outlets, explains that while nail lacquer and finishes offer infinite possibilities for decoration, ‘nail bars offer a quick-fix, impulse purchase and a feeling of instand, unplanned gratification.’

OPI Supports Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Posted in News on March 1st, 2012 by louise

As part of ovarian cancer awareness month, Lena White is donating £1 to the charity Ovacome for every bottle of OPI’s Teal the Cows Come Home sold in March.

Teal is the recognised colour for ovarian cancer and an up on-trend shade in fashion. It is hoped that the Teal Tips campaign, will get women talking and raise awareness of the disease by wearing such a distinctive shade of nail varnish.

ABOUT  OVACOME

Ovacome’s overriding aim is to save lives by improving our understanding of the subtle symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian Cancer affects one in 72 women of all ages. Historically ovarian cancer was called the “silent killer” because symptoms were not thought to develop until the chance of cure was poor. However, recent studies have shown this term is untrue and early recognition of the symptoms can save lives.

Join Ovacome and Lena White and wear your Teal Tips with pride to raise awareness of Ovarian Cancer.
